My Story

Thank you for visiting my website and for considering using my Costa Rica experience and knowledge to guide you through the purchase process in this beautiful country. If you are interested in my work history, you can look over my experience on my LinkedIn page.

I have been a resident of Costa Rica for over ten years, and I obtained my residency on my own, which in itself is short of amazing. I have to admit, I had a lot of help from my husband. I have lived here for over 16 years and have created an active lifestyle for myself. There is so much to do outdoors: swimming, snorkeling, beach hopping, fishing, Stand Up Paddleboard, Kayaking, fishing hiking, and the weather is perfect.

I originally had plans of moving out to California to live but wanted to take some time off before going back to the 9 to 5 workday. I discovered Playas del Coco while taking my divemaster course and decided to stay, trading in my business suits and heels for flip-flops and board shorts. A bonus - no more dreaded 90-minute commute to work and overcrowded subways and sidewalks - partly because they do not have either of these at the beach.

After several months as a dive-master and realizing it was a job that took a lot out of you working under the hot sun, I was rehired at my old corporate position to work as a freelancer. I began telecommuting for six-years while working at the beach!

It was the best of both worlds because I would spend several months in NYC working and then return to Costa Rica. I eventually got married, and we built our home in 2010, which was also the same year I decided to focus on marketing our sportfishing business, North Pacific Tours. In 2013, I decided to join RE/MAX Tres Amigos as an agent so that I could share my knowledge with all of you and help you create your dream of living in Paradise.

When I live in NYC, and I would take the train over the Brooklyn Bridge, I'd look out the subway windows and stare down at the South Street Seaport and all the boats in the river. I would gaze and think to myself, "What would I do if I didn't have to work and I had a boat. Where would I go?".

The Papagayo Gulf of Guanacaste offers a variety of different living and lifestyle opportunities!

I will work for the owners to sell their properties as quickly as possible and assist buyers in purchasing their property at the best price. If you need a recommendation of where to stay while you are here, I can point you in the right direction. I have contacts with all the property managers in the area and also all of the hotels.

Take the step in the right direction and contact me today!
